Try to keep your current status updated in your signature. If you're a normal first gen cat, you start with 21 stat points to put in whichever stats you want. Those who are deputies and leaders start out with 25. You may get more points in your stats from achievements.
Health (HP)
Most of you should know about health points from games. They keep track of how well, and how undamaged you are. Health points at the start are determined by how much your character weighs. In your sig, you put your current HP to the left of a slash(/), and, your max HP to the right. If your current HP drops to 0, you are unconscious, and unable to regain consciousness, until your foe(s) decide your fate. If they leave you, or spare you, you wake up with your current HP as 1. If your HP drops to -5, then, your character is dead. Illness might affect your HP.
Energy (EN)
Just what it sounds like, how many energy you have left. You lose energy from fighting other cats. If you win a fight, you only lose 1 EN. If you lose a fight, you lose 2 EN. Fights with NPC animals do not affect your energy score. You also lose 1 EN for each sprinting roll you do. If your current energy drops to 0, you might become ill.
Attack (ATK)
How well you can hit someone, and how much you can damage them. For example, if your attack roll-Plus the bonus-is more than your enemies EVA or BLK, they lose current HP equal to the total roll. Can also be used for pinning/pouncing. You may only roll one attack roll per character you are fighting, although pinning/pouncing counts as a separate kind of roll.
Evade (EVA)
How well you can dodge an attack or pin. If your total EVA roll is higher than your opponent's attack or pounce roll, you dodge completely.
Block (BLK)
How well you may defend/block against an attack. If your total block roll is higher than your opponent's attack roll, than you only half the damage of the roll.
Sprint (SPR)
How fast you can run, basically. If you're trying to run away, or chase after someone, this stat shows whose faster. For example, if someone sprints, and, you can't beat their total roll, they get away. Important if you need to run after a piece of prey to catch it, or get out of a bad situation. Could also sorta be used like EVA. Each time you sprint, though, you lose 1 EN.
Faith (FAI)
A stat probably most important to Medicine cats and leaders, faith is how you receive messages from Starclan. For each point of faith you roll in total, the more words Starclan can use in a message. Assuming Starclan doesn't just use visual and/or non-direct communication. Without any points in Faith, you cannot roll this stat.
Fertility (FER)
For females, this determines how many kits they can possibly have. For example, if your female cat has a FERT of 4, you roll a 1d4 to determine how many kits you get in a litter. For males, well, a kit's a lot more likely to get their father's fert instead of their mother's.
