1. Minimum post length is 150 words; that's roughly a paragraph. It's not too hard to get.
2. Roleplay posts should be made from 3rd Point Perspective. What is that, you ask? Well...
NO: I went down to the side of the lake to drink...
NO: They went down to the side of the lake to drink...
YES: Brambletail went down to the side of the lake to drink...
3. Meta-Gaming is a no no. This means that you are constantly editing posts for your dice information, etc. If we see you constantly editing posts, we're gonna start being a little suspicious.
4. Gaming mechanics is your friend - please take a look at it. It's not to hard to read and will save everyone a bit of a headache in the long run.
5. Whenever you eat, become pregnant, or mark a territory - please update the staff. There is a nifty thread for it and everything - so please! It lets us know how to update the side and keep on top of everything. This way we'll know you're not starving, etc.
6. It is not required, even preferred, if you don't make your posts look super fancy. The point of this roleplay is the content of the writing itself - not the fact that it has pretty colors or, well - anything like that. It also helps for people who are replying from different devices and generally makes the site easier to navigate.
7. In general, cats can only carry so much in their mouths; be they herbs or prey. For the sanity of all involved, they can only carry three (3) herbs and one (1) piece of fresh prey.
8. In this roleplay, killing is an inevitability. While we all want our characters to live until their Elder years, this is not going to likely be the case. Because there is no limit to the number of characters you can make, this should not be a problem; but when your character is dead, they are dead - or, unless in special circumstances, only allowed to interact with other Starclan members IN Starclan.
9. When battling or fighting another cat or animal, if there is no response within 2 RL days, your character has lost the fight. Your opponent shall hold your fate in their paws - so please, try to remember what happens if you are in a battle.
10. Please, keep your Health and Energy (HP & EN) visible somewhere, either in your character profile sidebar or in your signature. I would personally recommend Signature, as it is easiest to keep track of and change. All other stats could also be kept there.
