How Time Works In-Roleplay
1 in-rp hour will equal one full day in real-time.
When 24 hours pass, the season will change.
1 Year in roleplay = 4 seasons.
The date will therefore be displayed the following way:
01 (Hour - 1AM) / 01 (Season - Newleaf) / 01 (Year - 1st Year)
Within the roleplay, the hour of day should be reflected. If it's morning, and the sun's just come out - then roleplay that!
How Do I Know When the Sun Rises?
Newleaf (Spring): 7PM - 6AM
Greenleaf (Summer): 8PM - 5AM
Leaf-fall (Autumn): 5PM - 7AM
Leaf-bare (Winter): 4PM - 7AM
The Gathering
The Gathering will happen once per season, between the hours of 9PM-12AM (4 Days Real Time). However, depending on drama at the time, it may be shortened or lengthened as dictated by the plot and the Roleplayers involved.
Growing Up
Upon creating a character, you will be given a 'Date of Creation' or 'Date of Birth'. If your character is an apprentice or a kit, then please keep track of this. It will be important.
Kithood lasts for one in-game season. It is during this season that the Queen is feeding her kits through producing milk. So long as this Queen, the kit's mother, remains alive, they will not starve; however you must eat/drink regularly in order to not starve to death (once a real life week). If the mother passes away, you will need to find another queen, who is lactating, who can provide milk. If all of her kits pass away, she will still be able to produce milk, except if the roleplayer of said Queen decides that her milk has dried.
Adolescents, or Apprentices, are technically supposed to be 6-moons old, but in this Roleplay are 1 Season. Apprenticeship would last for another full season. They can no longer drink milk from their mothers. However, like with kits, their parental figures can still lick them to regain HP and energy (see BREEDING section).
Size Changes
HP (Health) is calculated by a cat's specific weight. Therefore, a kit and an Apprentice/Adolescent will have a lower HP.
Kit Weight is 35% of their total adult weight.
Adolescent/Apprentice Weight is 65% of their adult weight.
Kits should not be absurdly bigger than their parents, but their can be one kitten per litter who is drastically smaller than their parents, known as a runt.
